Game Review: This is a really fun game for the Harry Potter fans in your household. Your mission is to collect all the school items you need for the coming school year at Hogwarts, and to do this you must travel to the different shops in Diagon Alley to pick up your books, robe, wand, owl, cauldron, etc. The catch?: There is always one less of each item than the number of players in the game, so once the store sells out, you might be out of luck! That is, unless you can steal an item from another player, or have them sent to Knockturn Alley. Or, close down a shop to prevent other players from shopping there. This game went over great guns with my children when Harry Potter first came out, and it still holds up well. We play it on a regular basis. It can go on a little long, but most kids seem to remain interested due to the Harry Potter them. It's not out of date with the new books and movies, either, since it focuses solely on school shopping, which is in every Harry Potter book. This game is highly recommended, and if you can't find it at Amazon or elsewhere online, it is worth seeking out on Ebay.
