Game Review: Another Lego board game -- what could be interesting about this one, you say? Well, how about the theme of time travel, something most of us will admit is rather fascinating. In this game, players roll dice to move around the board and collect an artifact from each of 4 Lego worlds. Other players can foil your attempts by sending you off in the wrong direction if you land on the turntable in the center of the board, where in addition you may fall victim to the evil Time Twister, who can force you to return one of your artifacts.

This is a pretty good board game, in spite of all the little Lego pieces. The hardest part I think will be keeping your kids from running off with all the cool little pieces that they may not have seen in their regular Lego sets. The good news is that you can simply add your own Lego pieces as artifacts should you lose anything that came with the game originally. The turntable in the center of the board is the only other slight negative to the game; it can be a bit confusing to manage, and of course, very frustrating, especially for younger players who won't appreciate being sent off in the wrong direction at a key moment in the game! In addition, I found my kids tended to argue over who got the "coolest" artifact pieces. But generally speaking, it's a good board game which should be enjoyable for the whole family.
