Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chest Pirate's Dice Game
Game Summary: All players roll the five dice in their cup, but conceal the dice from their opponents. Then one player bids on how many of a particular dice he thinks the players have altogether. All players can then either raise the bid, or challenge it. A game of strategy and bluffing, it's up to you to find "the pirate within" in order to come out of this dice game victorious.

Game Review: Well, Pirates of the Caribbean mania seems to be sweeping the game aisles this summer, as a spate of new PoTC-themed games hit the stores. This dice game is no exception; apparently it's based on a dice game seen being played in the latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie, "Dead Man's Chest". The game is pretty straightforward, but with the element of bluffing and counting dice added in, there is more here than meets the eye (even if that eye is covered with an eyepatch!). You have to keep track not only of what dice you have, but how many everyone has, because if you bid wrong, or challenge incorrectly, you lose a dice. The last pirate with a dice remaining, wins the game. Bluffing is the key here, but this game can be played by children as young as 8 once they understand the basics. Our whole family enjoyed this game, and want to play it again and again, which is always the hallmark of a good game!
